Do something spontaneous, trampolines, and laundry (ofc)
Issue 48 // JAM

Hiiiii and welcome back to JAM! We have so much to catch up on.
What a yom tov season that was! I’m not sure what there was more of – cooking, or memes about how much cooking there was. 🤣
I hope you were able to find beauty in the yamim tovim, family time, and meals… and to appreciate yourself for the hard work you put in 💜
I treated myself today:

Mishpacha’s latest podcast (hosted by a JAM Drop speaker!) is seriously good.
And, while that’s a cup of coffee, I’m a huge tea drinker, especially now that chilly days are creeping up on us. This is my current go-to.
I’m so grateful to our sponsors – and honored to have been a top-performing platform for several recent ones.
One said we should raise our rates, but I’m not doing that just yet. Reach out ([email protected]) if you’d like to learn more about advertising with JAM.

JUST A Q
What are some family traditions you have? Whether it’s pancakes on Rosh Chodesh or Chanuka pajamas, please share the inspiration!
JUST A THOUGHT
I recently was very struck by this powerful post in the voice of a child whose mother kept her up late to see the stars.

It got me thinking about spontaneity, connection, and how the whirlwind of daily life (and the routine we’re all so grateful to be back to!) can make it harder to pause, slow down, and simply enjoy our kids — to share moments that feel alive and unhurried.
After a few weeks of mulling it over – and committing to weaving in more “just because” breaks from my commitment to efficiency and routine – I came across this perfect reminder 👇

My goals:
🎈 Fun for the sake of fun
💞 Deep connection
📍 Dropping routine in service of the bigger goal: relationship
That’s what’s been on my mind lately. What do you think?

JUST FOR YOU
☕ REC: Make a hot cocoa bar. Making a winter simcha – upsherin, sheva brachos, or thinking ahead to Chanuka? A hot cocoa bar – cocoa, marshmallows, chocolates, mints, whipped cream – is a deliciously indulgent upgrade. Or, create a core-memory melava malka tradition and treat your family.

🦘PRODUCT: Burn off indoor energy. Feeling cooped up in the winter? This trampoline (on sale now) is the perfect way to get your kids moving – and it’s compact enough to put away at the end of the day.
🌟REC: Give the most incredible tzedaka (and enter to win $10k). Areivim is both brilliant and beautiful — as a member, you give up to $42/month (only in months when there’s a collection for a member) enabling any children of Areivim members to get $150k in the case of a parent’s petirah r”l.
It gives your family an added layer of protection — and (from personal experience) there’s nothing like knowing your $42 enabled a payout of millions of dollars to yesomim. (That’s not an exaggeration.) Become a member in under 5 mins (and get entered to win $10,000) —>
