Issue 69 // JAM

Hi!
So I’m not asking where you’re up to (idk, it’s a kinda boring topic, no?) but I hope you’re keeping positive wherever you are! 🤩
Also, next time we schmooze will be erev-erev Pesach. What are you going to want to hear then? Reply to LMK!

An awesome, fulfilling pre-Pesach activity for your girls! Naomi Markovic of Shir Piano has 18 years of piano teaching experience, including tremendous success with virtual lessons to students around the world. This week, Thursday, March 26 at 1pm EST / 7pm Israel, she’s teaching a 30-40 min free class for girls 7+ to learn piano basics and their favorite Pesach tunes!

JUST FOR YOU
🌟TRY: Special upgrades for your seder:
📖 If you don’t want to invest in a standing hagadah (they make a great gift!), you can still clear space on the seder table (and prevent the need to tuck hagadahs beneath plates to keep them open…IYKYK) with these beautiful easels. (Thanks Reader N for the link!) They’re elegant, practical, and lessen the amount of matzah crumbs you’ll have tucked into the haggadah for next year :)
🍷Give each child their very own grape juice bottle. We would each receive our own mini bottle, wrapped in tinfoil (because Pesach, duh 😂) and labeled with our name and it made us feel SO SPECIAL. Whether your wrap and label, or just pass them out, it’s a special upgrade for the littles.
🍗HACK: Make super-smooth mashed potatoes. Use your hand mixer to blend boiled potatoes if you like your mashed potatoes super smooth, without the elbow grease!
🟥TIP: Get the perfect Pesach toy. These popular magnetic blocks make a great Pesach toy if you want something fresh!
✂️REC: Keep the kids busy with high-quality crafts they’ll be proud to show off. Colours Crafts has a fabulous selection of high-quality crafts — perfect if you need something to keep the kids busy while you finish up your preps, or if you’re looking for a really good afikomen gift.
Some of my faves: the Bais Hamikdash model is next-level, the DIY doll kit will capture your little girls’ hearts (and yours!), and with their Lucite kits, your kids can make stunning home decor. Explore all crafts (25% off now!) —>
